Please note: Paradise Ain't Cheap. If you are looking for good lakefront land that isn't very steep and has deep enough water for a dock, they start around $250,000 - $300,000. For a lakefront home on similar land, start at at least $550,000 - $650,000, depending on the supply available. There are homes on interior lots in some waterfront communities for as little as $200,000 - $250,000 that will give you access to a boat slip.
